Hotel attach agent

An agent that takes a booked flight and suggests hotels for the trip conversationally, using live Hotelbeds sandbox data. A proof of concept: still in progress, not production-ready.

The idea

Most hotel cross-sell after a flight booking is a search grid. The idea here is a conversation instead: the agent already knows where and when you’re going, so it can ask what kind of stay you want and come back with a short, reasoned list.

Where it is

A working demo shows hotels to a customer after their flight is booked, using live Hotelbeds sandbox data, with the Maldives as the validated test case.

Next steps:

  • Move the Hotelbeds calls behind a server-side proxy (needed because of signing and CORS).
  • Replace the demo’s marker-token approach with native tool calling, so the agent can genuinely research hotels mid-conversation.
  • Publish it as a sandbox playground on this site.

Limitations

A proof of concept, in progress. Sandbox data only; nothing can be booked for real.
